About

Profile MI Publishing

In 2005 I started writing and publishing my first children’s book

My first book was in Dutch entitled Ollie, Assie en Pelie – een modern sprookje over vriendschap. (A modern fairy tale about friendship)

In 2006 I published the book in  Papiamento Ollie, Assie y Pelie un storia moderno tocante amistad for sales on the Aruban market. In that same year I published Bullie op kantoor –  De belevenissen van een Franse Buldog. (Bullie at the office – The adventures of a French Buldog).

In 2007 I published my first book in the Papiamentu language Oli, Asi i Peli un kuenta modèrnu di amistat for the markets in Curaçao and Bonaire.

In 2008 I was invited to attend a children’s book week fair event in Aruba. For that occasion I published a volume of poems in Dutch, Papiamento, Papiamentu and English, written by poets from the Netherlands, Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles. The book is entitled:

Kinderen van het HeelalMucha di Universo – Children of the Universe. The book had been recommended by Prof. Dr. M.H.G. van Kempen, endowed professor West Indian Literature at the University of Amsterdam and the former minister Dr. Ronald Plasterk of the Ministry of education, culture and science, who found the project very successful.

In 2009 I published a collection of poetry by the Dutch Antillean Poet Charlton Marcos entitled: Foi fondo di mi poron. (From the profundity of my vessel)

In 2013 I wrote an e-book on slavery called: The Blatant Truth about Slavery, but I have rewritten  the book in physical form entitled SLAVERY subtitled A Phenomenon Of All Times and another subtitle as Time for a new reality , published in 2015.
An updated e-book of the same title was published in 2017.

In 2014 I wrote and published in Dutch: Jardi voetbaltfantastisch! (Jardí plays football… fantastic!)
